A snowmobiler was killed Friday after he was buried in an avalanche in Garfield County.
The Sheriff’s Office said in a press release that it got a report of a man buried in an avalanche just after noon north of Rifle Falls in the Little Box Canyon area.
Garfield County Search and Rescue found the unidentified 45-year-old snowmobiler’s body at 2:15 p.m.
