A 3-year-old Denver girl has died, and the boyfriend of the tot’s mother was arrested today on suspicion of first-degree murder.
Alexis Rueben Ortiz is being held in the Denver City Jail.
Police were called today to 14913 E. 50th St. on a report of a child not breathing.
Ortiz was living with the mother and her children at the time of the incident, according to Denver police.
Officials said the child died as a result of her injuries.
