GEORGETOWN, Colo.—Loveland Pass has reopened after a Friday morning closure for wintry weather and for avalanche control.
Chains are still required on all trucks, buses and large vans.
U.S. 6 over the pass had been shut down because of bad road conditions and so highway crews could clear away snow that might cause avalanches.
