Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 cup malted milk powder
4 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy whipping cream
3 cups chopped milk chocolate
Directions
In a medium bowl, stir sugar and malted milk powder.
Mix milk, cream, sugar and malted milk powder in a heavy saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat; whisk often to prevent malted milk powder from scorching.
Place chopped milk chocolate in a large heatproof bowl and pour liquid over chocolate. Stir until melted. Strain through a fine mesh strainer.
Set bowl over ice in a larger bowl.
Freeze in ice-cream maker according to manufacturer’s instructions.
