
Boulder filmmaker Diane Israel’s documentary “Beauty Mark” — about the forces that shape perception of body image among top athletes, fashion models, burn victims and teens — debuts 11 a.m. Saturday at the Boulder International Film Festival. Israel, a former pro triathlete, worked on the film for 3 1/2 years, interviewing athletes including Ironman Dave Scott, runner Ellen Hart Peña and bodybuilder and trainer Brenda Maller, about the forces that shape perceptions of beauty. Grand opening for prAna in Boulder
Active-lifestyle clothing maker prAna will cut a hemp rope to open its flagship store at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Boulder.
