My favorite subject: Physics. It’s challenging and I learn a lot.

My favorite athlete: Peyton Manning.

My favorite team: Iowa State wrestling.

What I listen to: Country mostly, but a little of everything.

The best thing on my training table: Potato salad.

Pregame ritual: Before big tournaments I always make sure I’m getting ready mentally, and I spend time with my family the night before.

Time management tip: Prioritize school, then your sport and make sure you get done what you need to get done.

Planned career: Architecture or engineering; considering Northern Colorado, Utah and Wyoming.

My family: Parents Jan and Leroy; brothers Matthew, Aaron, Daniel, Joel, Mark and Ben; sisters Rebecca and Greta.
