DENVER — The snow has mostly ended in the high country, but several high-elevation roads remain closed today.
Loveland Pass is closed due to snow and blowing snow. U.S. 550 across Red Mountain Pass is closed for avalanche mitigation.
The Colorado Department of Transportation also reports U.S. 40 is closed between Steamboat Springs and Kremmling.
For the first time in several weeks there are no winter storm warnings in the mountains. Several were issued but they were canceled.
Crews have repaired and reopened one of three lanes closed on Interstate 25 north near 58th street in Denver. They are working to cover the 16-foot-deep sinkhole in the heavily traveled area.
