The Carnival-type picture is outside the Turntable Restaurant in Minturn. This restaurant used to be a roundhouse for the railroad, and was turned into a hotel and restaurant. The present owner grew up in Minturn, and the high school held its dances in the restaurant. In the 1960s, there were five students in the graduating class. Their pictures are on the restaurant wall. They serve a super breakfast burrito called the “Baby Boo,” and their great strawberry milkshakes come with whipped cream and sprinkles.
