Our faithful haiku writers were plenty romantic this week, filling The Denver Post $25 Haiku Contest mailbox with verses on the topic of love that were both sentimental and cynical. Just because we’re feeling a little gushy, we picked two winners. The first came from Barry Northey of Denver:
