At least two robbers will spent Valentine’s Day eve in jail after snatching flowers from a street vendor at 10th Avenue and Tennyson Street in west Denver.

The vendor chased after the robbers, who turned a fired a gun in his direction, though no one was hit, Denver Police spokesman Sonny Jackson said tonight.

The robbers crashed near Dry Gulch Park, where two were picked up quickly and police were still looking for two others.

The names of those arrested were not yet available as the search for others was ongoing, Jackson said.
