Rangeview High School’s Math Café has won a $10,000 prize as the state’s most innovative high school program.

The school will receive the Ethyl Percy Andrus Legacy Award for Innovation as part of the American Association of Retired Persons’ 50th anniversary celebration.

Math Café is an after-school program that allows students to receive help with math while drinking coffee or hot chocolate and munching on cookies. Math Café meets two afternoons a week, with regular, certified math teachers and student helpers assisting the students who attend.
