CHICAGO — A parole violator with a resemblance to the man wanted in the quintuple slayings at a store in Tinley Park, Ill., was arrested overnight, a law enforcement source said Wednesday morning.
The man, who closely resembled the police sketch of the gunman who killed five women Feb. 2 at a Lane Bryant store, was picked up late Tuesday by the U.S. Marshals Service’s fugitive task force and turned over early Wednesday to the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force, the source said.
The man was wanted on a parole-violation warrant, authorities said. When investigators pulled his photo, they noticed a close resemblance to the sketch in the Tinley Park slayings, the source said.
