Xcel Energy said Wednesday that Coloradans can purchase a compact fluorescent light, or CFL, bulb at participating King Soopers and City Market stores at reduced prices.
A four-pack of 60-watt bulbs is specially priced at $3.99 for a limited time. Each bulb can save up to $30 in energy costs over its life under a program sponsored by Xcel, the utility said.
