STERLING, Colo.—A 19-year-old Sterling man has pleaded guilty to attempted sexual assault of a child and attempted enticement of a child.
Manuel Espino entered the pleas Tuesday. He was expected to be sentenced to six years in prison.
Espino allegedly told police in December that he had sex three times with a 12-year-old. The victim’s parents alerted police after they found text messages between Espino and the girl.
