Two little boys in No. 15 jerseys flashed wide smiles like their hero, Carmelo Anthony, does, posing for their camera-clicking mothers. And a 20- something woman, with a designer bag and salon-dyed hair, wore a white Anthony jersey with pink lettering, which matched her pink undershirt and her pink boots.
Sure, tonight’s NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans is a celebration of luminaries such as Anthony and Iverson. But, really, every game at the Pepsi Center is just that.
