Pheasant season is over. Planning for future success is not. To that end, there are two upcoming fundraising events for Pheasants Forever, the nation’s leading organization for conservation and propagation. Nationally, the organization has purchased more than 70,000 acres of prime upland habitat while performing habitat projects on 2 million acres.
The first, on Saturday, will be the Northern Colorado Chapter gala in the First National Bank Exhibition Building at The Ranch, just north of the junction of Interstate 25 and U.S. 34 in Loveland. Social hour begins at 5 p.m., dinner at 6:30; phone 970-669-6012.
The Kit Carson County Chapter, in the heart of pheasant country, will have its banquet March 8 at the Burlington Community Center, also with a 5 p.m. start. Phone 719-340-0405.
Both events feature auctions, raffles, drawings and games.
