I thought I should tell you that in the past two weeks two more cupcake shops have opened in Denver — The Shoppe and Lovely Confections. And they are right across the street from each other. I am a pastry chef/cupcake connoisseur and thought it was wild that we had none and then four in five months! The other day I rode to all four cupcake shops on my scooter.

Re: “A sandwich to forget Indianapolis by,” Feb. 13
I have lived in Indianapolis for over 40 years and had absolutely no idea that we were supposed to be famous for a pork tenderloin sandwich.
Aside from that, the author seemed negatively predisposed toward our fair city based on his “India-noplace” comment. With the high and mighty attitude displayed in his column, he might be more comfortable if he moved to Boulder.
