DENVER — Goodrich Corp. says Airbus has chosen it to provide cabin attendant seats for its A320 family of aircraft, with the seats being produced at Goodrich’s facility in Colorado Springs.

Goodrich says the deal is expected to generate $100 million in revenue over the life of the program. The seats would be installed in new aircraft. Goodrich says Airbus has more than 2,500 A320 family aircraft on order for delivery between 2008 and 2017.

Production deliveries are scheduled to start in the third quarter of this year.

Goodrich says the seats include improvements in reliability and safety.

The North Carolina company is based in Charlotte.
