Presidents Day in Denver will be sunny, with a forecast high temperature of 41 degrees, but some holiday skiers could see some fresh snow in the mountains.

Vail had a 30 percent chance of snow today, mostly before 11 a.m., and its high temperature should be about 30 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Skiers should bundle up, however, because windchill values in the high country could dip as low as minus 15 degrees.

Snow is likely in parts of the northern and central mountains today, mostly during the morning, the weather service said. Snow accumulations of about 2 inches are possible along the Continental Divide.

Tonight in Denver, skies will be mostly clear with a low temperature of about 28 degrees.

Sunny skies will reign again Tuesday in Denver, and the high temperature should climb to about 58 degrees.

A chance — 10 percent — of snow creeps back into the Denver forecast Thursday, mostly before 11 a.m., before changing to rain, the weather service reports.
