Patchy fog and a chance of freezing drizzle this morning in Denver is expected to give way to cloudy skies this afternoon.
Denver’s high temperature today should be about 37 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
A Pacific weather system moving into the state in the Four Corners region will bring snow to the San Juan Mountains, likely starting this afternoon, and a snow advisory will be posted by the weather service for southwestern Colorado from this evening through Thursday.
Snow accumulations in the San Juans, which has been plagued by powder this year, could reach up to 10 inches in some areas, the weather service said.
Tonight and tomorrow in Denver there will be a 10 percent chance of snow, the weather service reports. Tonight’s low temperature in Denver should be about 19 degrees and tomorrow’s high should be about 40 under mostly cloudy skies.
Friday will be partly sunny in Denver with a high temperature of about 51 degrees and then a slight chance of snow creeps back into the Denver forecast for the weekend, according to the weather service.
