Motorists spotted a floating body in Bear Creek at West Hampden Avenue and South Sheridan Boulevard on Wednesday.
Denver Fire Department crews pulled the decomposed body of a man out a short time later, about 4 p.m., said spokesman Lt. Phil Champagne.
The body carried no identification.
