Aurora police have identified the adult suspect in a shooting in an Aurora park last week that left two people wounded.

Benedicto Alexander Franco, 19, remains in the Arapahoe County Jail charged with attempted first-degree murder after the shooting Feb. 12 at High Hollows Park.

A juvenile, who has not been identified because of his age, also is in custody, police said.

The victims’ injuries were not life-threatening.

Investigators have said the shooting was gang-related, with as many as 50 juveniles watching before shots were fired at the park near East Louisiana Avenue and South Uravan Street.
