JERSEY CITY, N.J. — St. Peter’s College locked down its campus for several hours Wednesday after the discovery of a note that referred to killing students and the shootings at Virginia Tech. The lockdown ended after a room-by-room police search of the 3,000-student campus in northern New Jersey turned up nothing dangerous, a school spokeswoman said.
