With No. 1 Memphis playing No. 2 Tennessee at the FedEx Forum, two center-court tickets (section 114, Row J) were offered on on Wednesday for $8,500 . . . per seat.
Memphis coach John Calipari said Vols coach Bruce Pearl called earlier this week. “He was begging me for tickets,” Calipari said Tuesday. “And I told him no.”
Meanwhile, a check for the best available seats to the AFA-CSU game at Moby Arena came up with a couple at center court a little higher up (Section E, row 28) at $15 each.
