GRAND JUNCTION — Students enrolled at Mesa State College will be able to earn an engineering degree from the University of Colorado — and stay on the Western Slope, officials announced Thursday.
Groups of 15 to 20 students per class will go through the program offered on the Mesa campus through a partnership with professors at both schools.
It is the first time a student in Grand Junction will be able to earn a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
