Nearly 400,000 low- and middle-income Coloradans are eligible to enroll in the state’s generic prescription drug plan, officials said Sunday.
The Colorado Cares Rx program offers more than 125 generic drugs for between $20 and $40 for three-month supplies through a nationwide prescription mailing service.
Eligibility is based on income. A single person must earn $31,200 or less to qualify, and a family of four can earn up to $63,600 a year.
The program launched a month ago, and no enrollment numbers are yet available, state officials said.
