THE COLORADO HISTORICAL SOCIETY: Hired William J. Convery III as the state historian; Jill Cowperthwaite, director of development; and Sheila Goff, Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act liaison.

THE BBB FOUNDATION: The education and outreach arm of the Better Business Bureau of Denver/ Boulder named Susan Liehe executive director. She has been with the BBB for almost 10 years and currently is vice president of public affairs.

DENVER SISTER CITIES INTERNATIONAL: Named to the board of directors Laura Conti, a teacher with Denver Public Schools; Breckenridge Grover of the city of Denver; and Anita Khaldy, a community volunteer.
