The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, veterinarians from Colorado State University, and the Larimer Humane Society have seized a calf, a sheep and three goats from the Animal Angels Horse Rescue in Fort Collins.
The owner, Alesha Matchett, has 10 days to post $1500 bond to prevent the dispersal of the animals to foster facilities.
Matchett already faces up to 18 months in jail and a $5,000 fine on counts of animal cruelty for the 33 other animals seized from the horse rescue in December and January.
All animals seized in December and January have been adopted, while the Larimer Humane Society is currently housing the animals seized Friday.
