The Police unsurprisingly sold out their July 21 date at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in a couple hours on Saturday. Another Red Rocks show, scheduled for July 22, was immediately added by the band and promoter, Live Nation, Saturday afternoon.
Tickets for the second and so-called “final” Colorado show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets for reserved seats, again, are $54-$229.
The Police owned the biggest tour of 2007. Reuniting and playing their biggest hits at headlining shows and festivals the world over, Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland made live music history with grosses that had many talking about an additional leg of the reunion tour.
The band claims that this will be their final swing through North America. A press release regarding the second Red Rocks show says that this will be their final Colorado show of the tour.
