Colorado Mammoth forwards Dan Carey and Gavin Prout and goalie Gee Nash were named starters for the Western Division team in the National Lacrosse League’s All-Star Game on March 16 in Edmonton.

Carey leads the Mammoth with 17 goals and will make his second consecutive start and the third appearance of his three-year career. Nash has been selected as an all-star in four of the past five years and will make his second start. He leads the league with a 10.10 goals-against average. Prout, who leads the NLL with 34 assists and is tops on the Mammoth with 43 points, is making his fifth straight appearance in the All-Star Game and third start.

14ers rally to keep streak alive.

The Colorado 14ers won their sixth straight game Monday night and also beat the Rio Grande Valley Vipers for the sixth straight time, 113-104 at the Broomfield Event Center.

The 14ers rallied in the fourth quarter from a six- point deficit. Point guard Eddie Gill led the comeback, scoring 13 of his team-high 26 points in the final 6:17. Colorado’s Elton Brown added 25 points and a season- high 19 rebounds.
