NEDERLAND, Colo.—A skier who died at Eldora Mountain Resort apparently ran into an obstruction.
The identity of the man was not immediately released. He was found on a double-black diamond run in the Corona Bowls area of the resort at about 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Eldora spokesman Rob Linde said.
Linde said members of the ski patrol began life support and an air ambulance was summoned to the scene.
The man was pronounced dead at 2:13 p.m.
Ski resort officials provided few details. Boulder County sheriff’s Cmdr. Phil West said it appears the man appears to have “run into some kind of obstruction.’
