DES MOINES, Iowa—The Powerball jackpot was expected to be worth an estimated $153 million Saturday after no one matched all six numbers in the midweek drawing, the Multi-State Lottery Association said.

The winning numbers Wednesday were 20, 24, 37, 48 and 53. The Powerball was 11 and the multiplier was 5.

Players matching all five numbers and the Powerball would have won or shared the $135.1 million jackpot.

Two Power Play tickets sold in Indiana and North Carolina matched the first five numbers only for $1 million.

The top prize in Colorado was $50,000 for a Power Play ticket that matched the Powerball and four of the other numbers, Colorado Lottery officials said.

Powerball was created in 1992 and launched in Colorado in 2001.

The game is now played in 29 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
