A Danish company that is opening a wind-turbine manufacturing plant in Windsor has received a new order for 109 turbines.
The announcement by Vestas comes two days before it officially starts operations at a new plant in northern Colorado. The plant in Windsor will employ about 600 people and produce blades for roughly 600 wind turbines each year.
