The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office released the names of two people killed in separate crashes over the weekend.
Timothy Bourdon, 50, of Pueblo was killed Friday when his vehicle crossed the center line on Palmer Divide Avenue and struck an eastbound vehicle. The occupants of the other vehicle were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Douglas and El Paso county dispatch centers received multiple calls reporting an aggressive and erratic driver prior to the crash, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Michelle Elder, 48, of Elbert County was killed Sunday in a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Bayou Gulch Road and Hurlingham Circle in unincorporated Douglas County.
Officials believe weather may have played a role in the crash, Deputy Dave Joly said Sunday.
Toxicology results are still pending in both cases to determine whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
