The internationally known, sometimes controversial artistic duo of Christo and Jeanne-Claude return to Colorado to promote “Over the River.” The massive project, which is planned for 2012, will consist of temporarily covering portions of the Arkansas River between Salida and Cañon City. The couple will speak at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center in Pueblo (719-295-7200 or sdc-arts.org) and 3 p.m. Friday in Ballroom B at the Brown Palace Hotel, 321 17th St. Both events are free, but reservations are required for the Denver appearance.
