VAIL, Colo.—In a March 1 story about bark beetles, The Associated Press reported erroneously that Vail Resorts has hired Arborjet Inc. to inject pine trees with a repellent to protect them from the insects. A Vail Resorts spokeswoman said Arborjet approached resort company officials about using the product, but they decided against it.
