Charles Truncale, the attorney for Broncos defensive tackle Marcus Thomas, said he talked to the Florida state attorney’s office Thursday about his concerns involving Thomas’ arrest for suspicion of possession of cocaine last weekend in Orange Park, Fla.
Truncale said Wednesday the driver of the truck Thomas was in, Bryce Carter, confessed the drug was his, but that information wasn’t in the police report. Truncale spoke to the state attorney’s office and hopes Thomas will not be charged. He has a court date March 19.
