Jack Reale, who is Bailey’s agent, said he and the team talked about free-agent kicker Jason Elam while he was in town this week. He said he hopes to continue talking next week with the team about Elam. Still, Reale said Elam might take trips to visit other teams. Seattle, Atlanta and Kansas City are all looking for a kicker.
Elam said talks with the Broncos are not dormant but there are some parts of the team’s contract proposal that he believes need to be significantly adjusted.
“We talked but we’re still a ways away,” Reale said.
Baltimore running back Musa Smith, another Reale client, interests Denver. He might sign a one-year deal.
