Frontier Airlines said planes on its main operation averaged 77.8 percent full in February, up from 70.8 percent in the same month a year earlier.
Frontier increased capacity measured by available seat miles by 7.5 percent on its mainline operation, while traffic measured by revenue passenger miles increased 18.1 percent. But passenger yield, a measure of airline financial performance, fell 3.9 percent.
For Frontier’s new Lynx Aviation turboprop subsidiary, planes averaged 58.2 percent full in February.
