NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms on a multiyear contract with Jevon Kearse on Thursday, and coach Jeff Fisher said they plan to play the 31-year-old defensive end as much as possible.

Kearse, who had 14 1/2 sacks as a rookie with the Titans in 1999 and helped lead them to the Super Bowl, was released by the Philadelphia Eagles, who also cut linebacker Takeo Spikes.
