NORTHGLENN, Colo.—Northglenn police say two teenage siblings died after the car they were in was struck from behind by another vehicle.

The teenagers were identified as 14-year-old Damien Noyes and 13-year-old Angel Noyes, both of Loveland. They were back-seat passengers of a Ford Escort returning from a Denver Nuggets game early Saturday.

Northglenn police spokesman Steve Sanders says the crash was unintentional but that alcohol may have been a factor.

Police say the driver of the car that struck the Escort, Glenn Ryburn, is in critical condition at Denver Health Medical Center.

The teenager’s mother, Reyna Padilla-Chavez, suffered minor injuries. The driver of the Escort and stepfather of the teenagers, Phillip Chavez, was not injured.
