The Colorado 14ers’ Eric Osmundson hit seven 3-pointers and scored 32 points and Eddie Gill added 21 points and 15 assists to lead the 14ers past NBA D-League division rival Rio Grande Valley 117-107 on Monday night in Hidalgo, Texas.
The 14ers avenged an overtime loss to the Vipers the previous night, and now have a 7-1 record against the Vipers this season.
UNC baseball gets swept at Nebraska.
Nebraska completed a four-game sweep of the Northern Colorado baseball team on Monday, 7-0. UNC senior Adam Symons was the lone bright spot for the Bears, with two of the team’s five hits, both doubles.

For the first time, three women have been chosen to share the Big Sky Conference basketball player of the week award, the league said Monday.
Northern Colorado center Danielle Hagen, Portland State point guard Claire Faucher and Idaho State center Natalie Doma share the final honor of the 2007-08 season.
Hagen posted back-to-back double-doubles while averaging 17.5 points and 14.5 rebounds per game.
