DENVER—Defenseman Jeff Jillson of the Colorado Avalanche affiliate the Lake Erie Monsters has been placed on re-entry waivers.
Jillson, 27, was called up by the Avs on Oct. 26, but he didn’t play before he was reassigned on Nov. 20. He ranks second among Monsters defensemen in scoring with 20 points in 53 games.
Jillson has played in 140 NHL games, earning 41 points, including nine goals and 32 assists.
