BRIDGEPORT, W.Va.—Petroleum Development Corp. has named Chief Financial Officer Richard W. McCullough as president.
The Bridgeport-based natural gas and oil producer said Wednesday that McCullough will continue to serve as chief financial officer until a replacement is named.
McCullough replaces Thomas E. Riley, who resigned effective March 9.
Petroleum Development says McCullough has more than 30 years’ experience with utilities and energy companies. He previously served as president and chief executive officer of Gasource, LLC.
Petroleum Development’s stock fell $2.46, or 3.4 percent, to $70.65 Wednesday.
Petroleum Development has operations in Colorado, Kansas, Michigan, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wyoming.
