FAIRPLAY, Colo.—Up to 30 bison may have been illegally killed across several hundred acres of land in Park County.
The slayings happened in the Eleven Mile Reservoir area on a private ranch Wednesday.
Park County Undersheriff Monte Gore told KUSA-TV that they received a 911 call that a shooter was actively gunning down the bison in the remote part of the state.
Police have not identified any suspects.
