A report commissioned and paid for by the Colorado Oil & Gas Association, an industry trade group, found that the industry leases 10.9 million square feet of office space in metro Denver.
The report, prepared by Cushman & Wakefield, states that 1,519 oil and gas firms have operations in the metro area, employing more than 26,000.
