It should be mostly cloudy and cool in Denver today with a slight – 10 percent – chance of snow showers this morning.

Today’s high temperature in Denver should peak at about 48 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Another weather system out of the Pacific Northwest should push into the Colorado high country Saturday, bringing with it a chance of snow, rain and gusty winds to the northern and central mountains, according to the weather service. Weather in the southwestern mountains of Colorado should be calm and dry.

The Vail forecast calls for a 40 percent chance of snow Saturday and a 60 percent chance of snow Sunday with high temperatures in the mid-40s, the weather service reports. Thunderstorms are possible in the mountains Saturday afternoon.

Tomorrow in Denver should be mostly sunny with a high temperature near 64 degrees, the weather service said.

Mostly cloudy skies over Denver beginning Saturday night will bring a chance of rain and snow showers to the city through Monday as daytime high temperatures top out in the mid- to upper-40s, the weather service forecasts. Snow accumulations in the city, if any, will be light.
