BROOMFIELD, Colo.—Authorities are investigating the death of a man inside his home after a police standoff.
Broomfield police say a 40-year-old man barricaded himself inside a room in his house with several weapons early Friday. Police had been called to his house on a domestic disturbance report.
Police say no shots were fired by a SWAT team and that they didn’t force their way into the house. The man’s name has not been released.
The names and ages of other people who were evacuated from the house have not been released either.
