Kaufman’s Tall & Big Men’s Shop, an Engle wood clothing retailer, is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The retailer was founded by Fred Kaufman, who escaped Nazi Germany in 1936. He opened the first store in 1958 and moved the business into its current location at 3395 S. Broadway about 20 years ago.

Platte River Power Authority of Fort Collins has become a founding reporter of The Climate Registry by being among the first to join the organization. The Climate Registry is a nonprofit organization to measure and publicly report greenhouse gas emissions.
