VANCOUVER — Peter Forsberg participated in the Avalanche morning skate today and indicated he would be in the lineup tonight against the Canucks in GM Place. Colorado coach Joel Quenneville said the Avs planned to plug Forsberg back into the lineup and make Jaroslav Hlinka a healthy scratch.
The Avalanche could clinch a playoff spot tonight even before their game starts if Nashville loses in regulation at St. Louis. If Nashville wins or earns a point, Colorado would still clinch a playoff spot by matching that.
